    You are the light of the world document simply States that Canon law is ABOVE Civil law. If any priest is caught doing abuse, he is to be reported to the church and not the civil authorities.

    Horrifying. What church needs a special office in every diocese to handle rape and molestation cases against children? Only a church that processes rape allegations on a regular basis. And how in the world did anyone ever think it was okay to exempt high level priests?

    We do have an office for such cases it’s the office of the doctrine of the faith
