DACA, explained

Protection from deportation and the chance to work have been life-changing for DACA recipients. But if Congress and the White House can’t agree on a bill to protect them within a six-month…

At least the mother admitted that it was her fault that her illegal son was in America and did not try to blame Americans like these other insane idiots.

Talk to the democrats if you want DACA. The democrats are exploiting DACA while Trump offers 1.8 million a path to citizenship.

In a perfect world we could let everyone in a bad situation all over the world come here and become a full citizen with no limitations.

This is very sad. Any person under 18 should be taking care of. No one should suffer through that.

I really don't think this program is going to take flight. Chicanos, Mexican American and legalized phonies are trolling hard not to let them in. It is a shame. What a shame… On top of that, you got Republicans/conservatives/heil Hitler-asswipes, who would rather take a stand for something they don't even recognize, rather than looking at their neighbors!
Someone said to me I should be careful not to get too excited. I might just have a nervous brake down

I'm from Belgium so I don't know the American immigration system well but why didn't they just get a green card or became US-citizens? Or whatever you have to do to get legalized. Here we have the same problem, people come to Belgium but don't apply for citizenship because they want to go to England or what other reason they might have. They get caught and get deported, the left yells at Theo Franken (minister of migration) and makes a big scene. I'm really trying to understand here but if I do something illegal I go to jail if you rather live illegally than follow procedure well cry me a river but you have to go back.

I am in limbo and extremely frustrated. Why don't these politicians come up with a plan that gives people permanent residency if they have been in the USA for more than 10 years IF: 1. They can support themselves financially and have not been unemployed for a long period of time. 2. Have no criminal record, no felony. 3. Can pay a fine of say $20,000 divided in 5-8 years. 4. Can speak, write and read English fluently. Have I missed something? So why they don't come up with something that's objective like that? Oooohhhh never mind, that would make too much sense! I forgot that these clowns only want to play games and benefit their own political parties, themselves and their financial supporters. Democrats want amnesty & Republicans want no more immigrants to come in. We are at a huge impasse. I also keep hearing them talk about citizenship, no disrespect, but I am indifferent about that, that would allow me to vote, that's it. I want only to travel and live my life. Yet if I decide to leave I can't come back. I have a history with this country, have not entered it illegally. My mother has gone through a high risk pregnancy and had an abortion, my sister is American, my brother killed himself last year. Yet I am here at the mercy of these idiots! I would really appreciate any constructive replies.
